Racine Baseball Co-op Facing Eviction

A Racine baseball program for kids was handed an eviction notice.

The Racine Baseball Co-op has used its current facility on Water Street for nearly 20 years.

The city gave them a notice on Friday that they had to be out of the building by this Thursday.

Coaches tell us the co-op is planning on leaving the building in a few months and was promised by the building's owner they could stay until then.

The Racine City Council plans to discuss the issue at its meeting tomorrow night.
