Protesters rally outside Racine County Courthouse

There were protests in Racine County Friday, one of the few counties not performing same sex marriages.
Protesters and even a couple looking to get married asked the Racine county clerk several questions about issuing same-sex marriage licenses.
\"It's not a matter of paperwork. Its a matter of whether or not we legally should be taking applications or not.\" said Racine County Clerk Wendy Christensen.
Her refusal to serve licenses this week is what caused members of the LGBT community to protest outside the Racine County Courthouse.
