Proposal submitted for new West Allis Behavioral Health Hospital

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) – Universal Health Services has submitted an offer to the City of West Allis Community Development Authority to buy land for a new behavioral health hospital.

The hospital would be located near 68th and Mitchell.

According to a press release, the hospital would address the growing need for inpatient behavioral health services in the area.

The facility would have 120 beds. It would serve adolescents and adults.

Design and construction plans will be reviewed by city leaders at future public meetings.
