MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There is no shortage of activities to look forward to in Milwaukee's Third Ward district. To get a preview, Jordan Dechambre of the Historic Third Ward Organization joined us on Monday, May 1. She previewed several events worth marking on the calendar.
On Saturday, May 6, Riley's Social House at 411 E. Menomonee St. will host a Kentucky Derby Party featuring a Dress to Impress contest and horse racing games.
From May 26 - June 18, Skylight Music Theatre presents "SuperYou," a story about resilience, overcoming grief and remembering one's worth. Tickets can be purchased at SkylightMusicTheatre.org.
On Tuesday, May 9 at 6 p.m., Milwaukee Public Market offers a hands-on Thai cooking class with Jenny Lee. Learn how to make green curry and drunken noodles. Click here for more information.
