President Obama to visit Milwaukee next week

MILWAUKEE—The White House has announced that President Barack Obama will visit Milwaukee next week.

The president will be traveling to Prince George’s County Maryland, Pittsburg, Nashville and Milwaukee after his State of the Union speech.

The president will discuss efforts to put unemployed Americans back to work, which will be a focus of the State of the Union Speech.

“It will be an optimistic speech. Thanks to the grit and determination of citizens like you, America has a hard-earned right to that optimism. Five years after the President inherited the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, our businesses have created more than eight million new jobs in the past 46 months, and they're primed to create more, ” said Senior White House Advisor Dan Pfeiffer.

President Obama will give the State of the Union Speech Tuesday at 8 p.m.
