WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An unknown substance was discovered at the Waukesha County Jail Monday night, Aug. 4.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department says just before 10 p.m., the Waukesha County Communications Center was notified of a possible hazmat situation in the jail intake area where a white powdery substance was found.
This was after an arrested individual had been brought into the jail.
The jail intake area was closed temporarily to ensure safety but reopened at 11 p.m.
No one was injured during the incident, and details on what exactly the substance was, remains unknown.
