Possible Shooting at Elementary School

TOWNVILLE, SC (WSPA) – Anderson Co. deputies are responding to a situation at Townville Elementary.
SC Highway Patrol is on scene helping to clear room and secure the scene.
WSPA is reporting they can see deputies on the roof of the school with their weapons drawn.
Highway 24 is shutdown.
Two medical helicopters are on the scene at the school.
Oconee Co. sheriff’s office have been called in to help clear the building and secure the scene.
Anderson Co. Fire dispatch says thy have multiple crews headed that way.
They are asking people to avoid the area and get out of their way.
There are no other details right now, but we will update this story when we get more information.
