Poll: Trump Lead Evaporates In Iowa

Presidential candidate Donald Trump can no longer call himself the Republican front runner in at least one  state.

A new poll conducted for Monmouth University shows Trump running even with neurosurgeon Ben Carson, both candidates with 23% support from the Iowa voters surveyed.  Trump surged to the top of national polls weeks ago and this is one of the first indications of slipping in his support.   Carson's popularity has been growing, ever since his highly-praised performance in the first debate of GOP candidates. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker finished fifth in this Iowa poll, with 7% support.

Last week a Quinnipiac University poll showed Donald Trump leading nationally, but voters who were asked to describe the New York businessman in a single word, chose words like \"arrogant\", \"blowhard\" and \"idiot\".
