MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A suspected reckless driver crashed a car into a day care in Milwaukee on Monday, March 9 -- leaving a large hole in the side of the building. It happened near Green Bay and Hope around 10:30 a.m.
CBS 58 is told the car slammed into the day care "Enchanted Me Learning Center." Children were inside at the time of the crash but fortunately no one was hurt.
Crews spend Monday repairing the damage.
A woman who lives nearby said cars are always speeding through the area. That's why neighbors put up signs that read "slow down" in hopes of curbing reckless driving.
As for the driver of the car, police said he was cited for driving without a license and also didn't have insurance.
