Police stop convicted felons from breaking into store

Three convicted felons plan to break in to a Northwest side business was stopped by Milwaukee Police on August 3.
The felons were attempting to break in to a business in the 7400 block of West Hampton Avenue around 5:45 AM.
Milwaukee Police arrested the three after a caller reported a suspect was trying to break into a store.
Police noticed fresh cut marks on the latch to the security gate. The officers also saw three men inside a van in the alley, with one of them matching the description of the suspect the witness saw.
One suspect was identified through surveillance video from the business. The bolt cutter used to cut the latch was found in the car the suspects were driving. The suspects, a 33-year-old man, a 48-year-old man, and a 52-year-old man, all from Milwaukee, were taken into custody.
All three suspects are convicted felons and have lengthy criminal records and now face charges of Attempted Burglary.
