Police: Road rage leads to shooting incident in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Franklin police say a suspect has been arrested in connection to the road rage shooting on May 1. 

They say the suspect had been involved in two other similar incidents in the Milwaukee area. 

Charges were referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office, and the suspect was charged with one count first-degree recklessly endangering safety, three counts of endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon, two counts second-degree recklessly endangering safety and one count of disorderly conduct.

FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police say road rage led to a shooting on Loomis Road in Franklin on Monday, May 1. 

According to police, it happened near West Ryan Road when a Silver Kia SUV with a male Black driver and female white passenger became "aggressive" with a male driver in a Toyota Sienna minivan. The female passenger fired a shot from a gun towards the victim, striking his car.

The victim did not sustain any injuries and immediately reported the incident to a neighboring law enforcement agency.

Police are interested in speaking with anyone who was traveling in the area of West Loomis Road between West Drexel Avenue and South 124th Street around 10:20 and 10:30 a.m. Monday and witnessed this altercation.
