Police: Racine man holds victim at gunpoint over $10

RACINE, Wis. -- A Racine man is now charged for allegedly robbing a victim of $10 at gunpoint.

Deandre Berryhill, 33, is charged with armed robbery and felony bail jumping.

Officers were called out to the 1500 block of Grange Avenue on April 19 for a report of a robbery.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim was leaving his cousin's house when Berryhill approached him and asked for $10. The victim allegedly told Berryhill that he did not have $10. Berryhill then allegedly pulled a gun and pointed it at the victim, stating "break yourself, break yourself."

The victim then told Berryhill that he would get him $10 from his car, the criminal complaint alleges.

Berryhill then took the money and ran.

The victim was able to identify Berryhill in a photo lineup.

Berryhill was taken into custody.
