Small plane goes down near Racine industrial park, strikes building

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine police say a small plane crashed close to an industrial park near the airport shortly after 8 p.m. Monday night, May 17.

Authorities say it happened near Carlisle and William Street.

The plane reportedly went down in a field and skidded across, striking a building.

A woman flying the plane was the only person on board. 

She was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.
