Police: No Children on School Bus During Fatal Accident

One person is dead after a fatal car and bus collision near Sherman Boulevard and Mill Road in Milwaukee.  According to police, the crash happened around 7:45 AM on Friday. The Medical Examiner was called to the scene.  

Milwaukee Police report that there apparently were no children on board the bus at the time of the accident.  

A 2003 Ford Taurus traveling westbound at a high rate of speed collided into a parked school bus.  The driver of the Taurus, a 36-year-old man, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.  The passenger of the Taurus, a 40-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The 39-year-old male driver of the school bus was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
