Police: Man in his 60s robs Waukesha bank, told tellers he had live grenade in pocket

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man in his 60s was arrested after allegedly robbing a Waukesha bank on Friday, April 8. 

Police were called to Waukesha State Bank at approximately 9:50 a.m. for a hold up alarm. Officers were at the scene within 90 seconds after the call. 

Authorities say the suspect gave one of the bank tellers a note that suggested he had a hand grenade in his pocket. The suspect walked out of the bank and was confronted by law enforcement. 

No one was hurt. 

The suspect was transported to the Waukesha County Jail with charges being referred to the Waukesha County District Attorney's Office.
