Police investigating drowning of 7-year-old boy
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office released its report on the 7-year-old boy who drowned in a hotel's swimming pool on January 24 around 5:16 p.m.
The medical examiner's office says 7-year-old Noah Beckley attended a birthday party at the Comfort Inn and Suites near 107th and Good Hope Rd. The medical examiner's report says Beckley was with his father's girlfriend at the pool party attended by approximately 9-10 adults and 10-15 children. The report says the boy jumped into the 4.9 ft. deep part of the pool by himself. Police say the boy began to flail his arms, then sank to the bottom of the pool. He was underwater for about 3-5 minutes before someone noticed and pulled Beckley out.
The report says Beckley was resuscitated before being transported to Children's Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The child's father says his son did not know how to swim.
