Police investigating death of infant girl on Milwaukee's south side

Police are investigating the death of a 1 1/2-month-old old girl on the city's south side.

Medical examiners were called to the 2400 block of S. 8th St. around 4:40 am on Wednesday.

They say the death does not appear to be suspicious at this time. Initial reports indicate the child was in a safe sleep environment.
