Police investigate overnight shootings, fatal stabbing and fatal hit and run
Police are investigating multiple shootings, a fatal stabbing and a fatal hit and run that occurred Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Around 10:50 Saturday night, 36-year-old man was fatally stabbed at the 900 block of W. Hadley St. The victim was arguing with the suspect when he was stabbed. Police have the suspect in custody.
A 51-year-old woman was shot at the 1600 block of N. 31st St, around 12:40 Sunday morning. Police believe the shooting involves prostitution and robbery. No suspects are in custody. The victim's injury is non-life threatening.
Police say two women, 34 and a 29-years-old, were the unintended targets of a shooting at a bar located at the 700 block of S. Cesar Chavez Dr around 2 am. An altercation occurred inside the bar and as the victims walked outside they were shot. The injuries are non-life threatening. No suspects are in custody.
A 40-year-old was killed after he was hit by a car. Authorities say that the victim had an altercation with the occupants in the car that hit him and fled. Police say it is still unclear of the details. No suspects are in custody.
