Police investigate 4 separate overnight shootings across Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Across Milwaukee police were called to four separate shootings on Friday, July 22, 2022. 

At around 8:15 p.m., near 22nd and Wright Streets, a 29-year-old Milwaukee man sustained serious injuries after being struck by gunfire. He was taken to a local hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation. Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspect(s). 

Near 47th St. and Hampton Ave., at approximately 8:51 p.m., a 32-year-old Milwaukee man sustained non-fatal injuries after being struck by gunfire. He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation. Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspect(s). 

At 9:44 p.m., near 19th and Clarke Streets, a 49-year-old Milwaukee man received non-fatal injuries after being struck by gunfire. He arrived at a local hospital for treatment and he is expected to survive. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation. Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspect(s). 

Near Brady St. and Arlington Pl., a 30-year-old Milwaukee man was shot at around 11:45 p.m. The victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive. The circumstances leading up to the shooting resulted from an argument. Milwaukee Police are seeking a known suspect.
