Police investigate 3 separate shootings within 35 minutes in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating three non-fatal shootings that occurred in different parts of the city within a 35-minute span late Wednesday night, July 23, and early Thursday morning, July 24

The first shooting reportedly took place near 50th and Center, where police said a 24-year-old and a 21-year-old each arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds. The shooting occurred Wednesday at around 11:30 p.m., according to police.

At nearly the same time, police responded to a second shooting near 13th and Atkinson. Officials said a 32-year-old was injured and taken to a hospital.

The third happened near 10th and Green Bay, with officials saying a 25-year-old was shot shortly after midnight on Thursday, July 24.
