Police are Investigating Break-ins of Milwaukee Public Schools

Milwaukee Police are investigating four incidents of burglaries to Milwaukee Public Schools. 
MPD is investigating the possibility that these incidents are related.  
 
Police are still looking for suspects for the Engleburg and Lancaster School break-ins. 
Lancaster School, Engleburg Elementary and Kilbourn Elementary School were broken into. 
On April 16 at 9:30 PM, Lancaster School was broken into. The suspects broke a window, entered the school, and took various lap top computers from throughout the school. 
On April 18 at 9:20 PM, Lancaster School was again broken into. The suspects broke a window, entered the school, and ransacked various areas of the school. At this time, nothing is discovered to be missing. 
On May 1 around 2:30 PM, the Engleburg Elementary School was broken into.  Suspects entered the school, forced entry to several classrooms and stole items from the school.  MPD continues to investigate and determine with the staff exactly what items were taken and we continue to seek suspects. 
On April 23rd around 6:30 PM, the Kilbourn Elementary School was broken into.  Suspects entered the school, intentionally broke property and stole items from the school.  As police responded they observed two suspects fleeing from the school.  
After a short foot chase, a 14 and a 16-year-old males from Milwaukee were arrested.  Both suspects have been charged with burglary by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office at the Children’s Court Center.
