Police: 65-year-old motorcyclist dies after crash in Walworth County

DARIEN, Wis. (CBS 58) --  A 65-year-old motorcyclist died after crashing into another motorcycle in Walworth County. 

According to the Walworth County Sheriff's Office, police received a report of an injury crash involving two motorcycles on County Highway M near Springwood Drive in Darien on July 17. It happened at 1:15 p.m. 

Upon arrival, a man was located in the road with serious head trauma. He was identified as Dale Culver, 65, of Beloit. Culver was transported to a Janesville hospital and later died from his injuries on July 31. 

The initial investigation determined Culver struck the rear of a slower moving motorcycle traveling ahead of him, according to officials.

As a result, both motorcyclists went down to the pavement. The struck motorcyclist was identified as Jeffrey Hutchinson, 63, also of Beloit. Hutchinson received treatment for minor injuries at the scene and was released.
