Police: Milwaukee woman, 52, fatally shot near 68th and Silver Spring identified

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Authorities have identified the woman fatally shot near 68th and Silver Spring as 52-year-old Michelle Blackmon of Milwaukee.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office ruled her death a homicide.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 52-year-old Milwaukee woman was fatally shot near 68th and Silver Spring on Friday, Sept. 11.
It happened around 8:20 a.m.
According to police, the shooting is the result of an argument.
A 45-year-old male suspect from Milwaukee has been arrested in connection. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
An investigation is ongoing.
