MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Authorities report a 16-year-old boy was killed in a shooting Tuesday night, March 8. 

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified him as Zarion Waheed. 

The shooting happened around 6:42 p.m. near 52nd and Hampton. 

He was taken to an area hospital with a single gunshot wound and died from his injuries. 

Milwaukee police seek unknown suspects at this time. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
