Police: 2 people stabbed by family member in Village of Jackson

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two people suffered serious injuries after police say they were stabbed by a family member Tuesday night, Oct. 27 in the Village of Jackson. 

Authorities say the stabbings happened at a residence on Ridgeway Drive around 11:10 p.m.

Police took a 33-year-old man from Jackson into custody. 

The victims' injuries were serious, but not life threatening. They were treated and released at a local hospital.

Charges of Attempted Second Degree Intentional Homicide, First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety while Armed, and two counts of Disorderly Conduct with domestic violence enhancers are being referred to the Washington County District Attorney's Office.

Jackson police were assisted on scene by the Washington County Sheriff's Office, Slinger Police Department, and Wisconsin State Patrol.
