Police: 11-year-old boy shot inside vehicle near Capitol and Appleton
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that injured an 11-year-old boy Monday, Jan. 31.
Police say the victim was a passenger in a vehicle near Capitol Drive and Appleton Avenue.
A suspect in another vehicle approached the car around 2:40 p.m. and fired several shots, striking the child.
The victim sustained non-fatal injuries and arrived at an area hospital for treatment.
Milwaukee police seek unknown suspects.
