Pleasant Prairie's Haribo water tower places #10 in national 'Tank of the Year' competition

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Pleasant Prairie's water tower entry into the national "Tank of the Year" contest came in at number 10 on the list of 2023 winners.
Inspired by the beloved gummy bear, the 121-foot water tower in Pleasant Prairie sits behind gummy bear manufacturer, Haribo, and is painted with colorful gummies on the stem.
The competition, put on by Tnemec, ran from Oct. 2-13.
Friday, Oct. 20, Tnemec announced the winners and coming in at number one was a water tank in Bryan, Ohio, painted in a Dum-Dums theme. Other runner ups included tanks from Clinton, Tennessee, Dunedin, Florida, and Lexington, South Carolina.
