Pleasant Prairie Police: Two people dead following shooting; witness reported hearing an argument before gunshots

Pleasant Prairie Police responded to an apartment in the 8600 block of 82nd Street for a report of a shooting.

A witness reported hearing an argument coming from an apartment before hearing what sounded like gunshots.

Upon arrival, officers forced entry into the apartment and located a 39-year-old female and a 49-year-old male.

Both were deceased and had suffered from apparent gunshot wounds.

While still under investigation, police believe that this incident poses no danger to the public or those living in the area.

Names of the deceased individuals are being withheld pending notification of family members.
