PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Pleasant Prairie is hosting its inaugural Christmas Holiday Lights Tour. You can drive through Pleasant Prairie and check out 21 homes that are decked out with lights, garland, music and all of the holiday favorites. The event comes after the inaugural Halloween Holiday Lights Tour. Sarah Howard with Visit Pleasant Prairie says some of the same residents participated and some new homes got involved as well.
"There were a few homes that didn't win the top three for the Halloween holiday lights tour and they said, 'Sarah, we're going to bring it for the Christmas Holiday Lights tour.'"
And she says they absolutely did. The decorations range from traditional to modern light shows.
If you take the tour, you're also encouraged to vote on your favorite house.
"Another really fun element of this tour is that the decision is up to the tour-goer's hands. They get to place a vote for their favorite home decor and the runners up," said Howard.
The winners will get an ornament trophy to display every year on their Christmas tree.
You can find the whole tour guide here.
