Is there anything Vitto Brown can’t do? The only Badger to sing and slam at Wisconsin was one step away from his NBA debut when the seasons were suspended. So he learned a new talent.
“I’m not going to call myself a seamstress or a sewer, I know the basics. I’ve definitely learned more than I thought…usually I come home and im working out chillin, but ive actually been learning home-ec skills
Vitto and his family are sewing face masks during the coronavirus pandemic. Vitto tells me he’s working 4 hours a day, sewing and taking orders.
Together with his parents the Browns’ made more than 300 face masks shipping them as far as Germany “technically worldwide now” donating nearly 50 to essential workers on the front lines.
“At a time like this you need people who specialize in different areas to help keep you safe. We’re not doctors so we cant do uch but as long as you can do something positive”
Vitto says the best way for Badger fans to get one of their face masks is to message him on social media.
