MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- When thinking about modern art, quilt making may not be the first artistic medium that enters the mind, but it is very much an active form of art that has its own unique vision and creative processes.
The Pfister Hotel recently announced its 15th Artist in Residence, selecting Heidi Parkes, who specializes in quilt making. She is showcasing her work in the Pfister Hotel's studio, and joined us on Monday, Feb. 12 to discuss more about her art and what she plans to do with her opportunity to participate in the Artist in Residence program.
