Pewaukee man charged after victim says he made her perform sexual acts with dog

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 49-year-old Pewaukee man is charged with multiple counts of bestiality. 

Kevin Spaeth is the accused. 

According to a criminal complaint, the female victim told investigators Spaeth was sexually interested in acts of bestiality.

Spaeth allegedly pressured the victim to engage in sexual acts with his red Labrador dog named Badger. 

Authorities say several incidents occurred in 2022. 

The victim, according to the complaint, stated she didn't feel like she could tell Spaeth no or that she wasn't interested in this type of sexual contact because Spaeth was "very controlling" and would get upset with her. 

Spaeth is charged with the following: 

  • Bestiality - engage in sexual contact with animal (4 counts) 
  • Bestiality - organize, promote, participate as observer sexual contact with animal (3 count) 
  • Bestiality - permit sexual contact with animal on property (3 counts) 

A preliminary hearing for Spaeth is set for Sept. 11.
