Pediatric patient dyes doctor's hair green in support of Milwaukee Bucks

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --A doctor at Children's Hospital is showing his support for the Milwaukee Bucks run in the NBA Finals by sporting green hair!

Dr. Joseph E. Kerschner had his hair dyed green by Caleb, a patient of his at Children's Wisconsin, in honor of the Milwaukee Bucks' playoff run.

Officials say the inspiration of the hair dye comes from Dr. David Margolis who has been asking patients to spray-paint his hair green for the last 15 years as a tradition to celebrate each time the Bucks make it to the NBA playoffs.

Months ago, Dr. Kerschner agreed to join Dr. Margolis in the hair-dying tradition if the Bucks were to reach the NBA Finals.

Kerschner, MD, The Julia A. Uihlein, MA, Dean of the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) School of Medicine, provost and executive vice president, also practices as a pediatric otolaryngologist at Children's Wisconsin.
