Pedestrian killed in early morning hit and run, MPD is seeking suspect vehicle

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police are looking for a late model Chevy Cruze, believed to be involved in a fatal hit and run accident early Sunday morning in Milwaukee. According to the MPD, a 23-year-old man was stuck by the suspect vehicle while he was walking in the area of Sherman Boulevard and W Capitol Drive around 3:20 AM Sunday. The man died of his injuries at the scene of the accident. The suspect car fled and is being sought by the Police. The car is described as a metallic blue, 2016 to 2018 four-door Chevrolet Cruze. The MPD has released a stock photograph of the type of vehicle being sought. Anyone with information about the suspect vehicle is asked to call the MPD at 414-935-7360.
