PD: 68-year-old Madison Man Knocked Down, Robbed in Home

(CHANNEL 3000) A 68-year-old man was knocked to the ground and robbed in his home Wednesday afternoon, Madison police said.
A man said a stranger came to his home in the 600 block of Vera Court around 3:55 p.m. and asked for money, according to a release.
The man told the stranger no and tried to close the door, but the intruder pushed his way in, officials said.
The intruder knocked him down and stole the man’s wallet and cellphone.
