Paying to Park at the Parks

Soon you may have to pay to park along Milwaukee's lakefront.
The county parks budget request for next year includes parking fees along the lake. This would be a first.
The one-dollar an hour fee would cover areas like the east lot at Veterans Park, the North Point Parking Lot at Bradford Beach, and the McKinley Marina lot.
If you'd like to weigh in on the proposal, there's a public meeting on the county budget tonight. It's at 5:30 at the Washington Park Senior Center.
