Hales Corners (CBS 58)--Boerner Botanical Gardens transforms from plants to pandas starting Friday and running for a month. For another year, this Milwaukee County Parks site is proud host to "China Lights." Look for more than 40 new displays to light up 9 acres at this location. CBS58 was the first TV station in Milwaukee to get a sneak peek during our morning newscast today. Event organizers promise bigger and better life-size illuminations along with a "panda-mania" theme.
One attraction you notice right away at the main entrance is a towering panda made up of some 30-thousand ping pong balls. There's also a panda alley. You'll also able to walk into the belly of a giant shark display. This is just a small sample of what you'll see. Also, remember there are ten different lots for parking, some with free shuttles.
