Packers Training Camp begins

The calendar reads July 30, but in Green Bay it is Christmas morning. And the long wait for football season has ended.
Our first glimpse of the Packers was this morning on bicycles on their way from Lambeau Field over to Ray Nitschke Field. Nearly two hours on the practice field this morning.
It is expected that it will become a daily tradition as Mike McCarthy and his staff are maximizing every second of preparation they have. The Packers clearly excited today, practicing with energy, and their coach is excited too.
We do have our first in-practice injury, and maybe that term's strong. Jared Abbrederis took a fall during a play and left to be evaluated but it doesn't appear to be related to the knee injury that cost the former Badgers receiver all of last season
