Packers sign new Tight-End

The Green Bay Packers have signed Tight-End Justin Perillo to the active roster from the practice squad, placed Sean Richardson on injured reserve and signed Defensive-Back Kyle Sebetic to the practice squad. The transactions were announced Wednesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Perillo, a 6-foot 3-inch , 250-pound second-year player out of the University of Maine, was originally signed by the Packers as a non-drafted free agent on May 12, 2014. He began the 2014 season on Green Bay’s practice squad before being elevated to the active roster on November 15, where he spent the rest of the season, appearing in two games. Perillo has spent the first five weeks of the 2015 season on the Packers’ practice squad. He will wear No. 80 for Green Bay.

Sebetic, a 6-foot, 197-pound first-year player out of the University of Dayton, was originally signed by the New York Giants as a non-drafted free agent on June 3, 2014. He was released by the Giants on Aug. 26, 2014, and spent a week on their practice squad in November. Sebetic signed with Green Bay on March 25, 2015, but was released on September 1. The Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, native was a captain at Tremper High School in Kenosha, Wis. He will wear Number 41 for the Packers.
