Packers injury report: five players questionable for Sunday

GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers have released Friday's injury report, complete with designations for Sunday night's NFC North title-deciding showdown with the Detroit Lions.

Running back James Starks, still dealing with concussion effects from a car accident, has been ruled out for the game. Five other players are questionable for Sunday's showdown: receiver Randall Cobb, defensive lineman Jayrone Elliott, cornerback Damarious Randall, linebacker Joe Thomas, and offensive lineman J.C. Tretter.

Cobb has yet to participate in a Packers practice this week thanks to ankle issue that led to his deactivation last Saturday. The Packers did not practice Friday, but still released the injury report and designations.

Green Bay has won five straight games, and would win the NFC North title if they can beat Detroit at Ford Field Sunday night. The Packers can lose the game and still make the playoffs if Washington loses its matchup with the New York Giants Sunday afternoon.
