Packers honoring life and legacy of Bart Starr during home opener weekend

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It's a big weekend for the Packers and their fans. 

There are several special events to honor the life and legacy of legendary quarterback Bart Starr who passed away in May.

Cherry Starr and Bart Starr Junior will be at the annual Green and Gold Gala Friday night inside the atrium at Lambeau Field.

On Saturday, the Starr family will be at Rawhide Ranch in New London for a free, public Bart Starr commemorative celebration.

There's also a free concert by Big and Rich outside Lambeau Saturday night. 

Sunday marks the home opener against the Vikings at noon, with a special halftime tribute to Starr.
