MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Packers fans are either gearing up or packing their bags to support the team as they prepare to play the San Fransico 49ers on Saturday.

"The Packers are going to do great. I know it. I just know it," Green Bay resident Heather Rusch said.

Rusch went to California on Friday, Jan. 19, to watch the game in person.

"We are headed to Santa Clara," she said. "It was kind of a fluke. We just decided last weekend after the win that it was time to go, and we booked a flight and got our tickets."

Many are headed west, but of course, a lot of fans will be cheering on from their favorite sports bar or in their living room. Before the game, plenty of people dropped by the Green and Gold Zone in Greenfield for some new merch.

"Packer fans are Packer fans," Green and Gold Zone owner Amy Hundt said. "We've had a lot of the loyal ones throughout the season, good, bad or other. They're here. We have a lot more coming in now."

Hundt tells CBS 58 that the store has been bustling since the team took down the Cowboys.

“I would say quite a few more people have been coming in since the Dallas game and now the San Francisco game coming up. We’re going to win that one too," she said.

As the big day draws closer, there is one name Hundt says customers keep asking about.

"That is the hot item right now are those [Jordan] Love jerseys, and they're going fast," she explained.

Fans are certainly feeling the Love after last week's game.

"I think that people kind of underestimated [Love], and he's really stepping up and showing Packer fans what he's capable of, and he's doing an awesome job," Packers fan Kaitlyn Konecny said. "My husband is kind of torn. He is a 49er and Packers fan so it will be an interesting game tomorrow night, but I am definitely all green and gold, so I'm hoping the Packers can pull off a win."

Rusch said she is excited to support the quarterback in person during the game.

"I'm completely surprised. I was expecting a building year, and he stepped it up for us," she said.

If the Packers beat the San Fransico 49ers, they will take on either the Detroit Lions or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but that will not be decided until the two teams face off on Sunday.
