Packers cornerback Nate Hobbs to miss rest of training camp after knee scope
GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Newly-signed free agent cornerback Nate Hobbs underwent knee surgery and will miss the rest of Green Bay Packers training camp.
"I feel like it's all about how you approach the day every day," Nate Hobbs said. "I could come into the building and be like oh I gotta do rehab. Or I could come to the building like I'm gonna attack this rehab. I'm about to pay attention in these meetings. And get ahead on anything mentally I couldn't get ahead on you know mentally because I was taking so many reps physically. You know how camp is. It could be draining."
Other headlines coming out of training camp on Tuesday: the team wants to be more physical, have more attitude -- meaning simplistic to last year, the starters may play a little in game one Saturday night against the New York Jets.
"We'll see," Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur said. "However I'm feeling in the moment. I just told all these guys to get ready to play football. Whenever we're ready to play you, we'll play you."
Linebacker Quay Walker returned to practice on a limited basis. So, at least the Pacers are getting some of their starters back.
