MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Green Bay Packers fans in Milwaukee watched as their team's season came to an end after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles 22-10 in a wild-card playoff game.
The odds were against the Packers with multiple key players out with injuries and back-to-back NFC North losses. However, fans inside Major Goolsby's in Milwaukee were optimistic about the wild-card game.
"We went to the Super Bowl on a wild-card when Aaron Rodgers went," said Angel Velazquez, a Packer fan. "I'm thinking this is some kind of sign. If we win this game, Super Bowl."
"I just think Jordan Love needs to get hot, they need to give him some easy check downs to get his confidence up," said Charlie Gutierrez, a Packer fan. "They just need to get going in the second quarter to have a good second half and my expectations are high."
Unfortunately, the outcome didn't turn out the way some fans wanted.
"I thought it would have been closer of a game," said Jordan Weink, a Packer fan. "The Eagles have been great all year long. It was expecting the worse, hope for the best, and the best didn't happen."
Packer fans at Major Goolsby's said they were excited for other upcoming Wisconsin teams, like the Brewers and the Bucks, to hopefully go further into their own playoffs later in the year.
