ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The owner of an Elkhart Lake restaurant and banquet hall says he's overwhelmed.
He's gotten a lot of support since a fire destroyed part of his business.
"I just want to be able to take care of the people we made commitments to," said owner Scott McMurray. "I mean we have brides that are having weddings."
That's what Scott McMurray told CBS 58 almost three weeks ago, after Three Guys and a Grill burned to the ground.
The fire was blamed on a faulty outlet.
On Thursday, McMurray announced that other banquet halls have stepped up to help, and he's been able to relocate all the events that were booked for his restaurant.
McMurray also says neighbors have offered to help clean up debris, and employees have offered to work without pay.
He hopes to rebuild Three Guys and a Grill.
