Girl Scouts attend 'Girls in Aviation Day' at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport hosted over 50 girls during their 'Girls in Aviation Day' sponsored by Women in Aviation Southeastern Wisconsin and Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast.
The event, designed to introduce girls from ages 8 through 17 to careers offered in the aviation and aerospace industries, was held on Saturday.
It was one of over 50 'Girls in Aviation' events being held around the country.
There were tours, question and answer sessions with aviation professionals, and hands-on learning experiences during the event.
