Mild and windy most of this week with another big storm system
Milwaukee (CBS 58)--What you see isn't necessarily what we'll be getting during the entire Memorial Day holiday weekend. Sunday will continue to be dry, for the most part. But it'll be cooler with a prevalent northeasterly wind. Expect highs to be in the 60s by the lake and in the 70s in Lake Country.

Unfortunately, our luck runs out on Memorial Day itself. We'll see waves of rain and storms, especially into the afternoon and evening. Low pressure will ride a front just to the south of us. If that front moves farther north, we could encounter stronger storms with warmer temperatures. There is a "slight" risk of severe storms just south and west of Milwaukee. It's "marginal" elsewhere.

Of course we dry out late Monday night and Tuesday. And then another storm system comes out way late Tuesday night and hangs around during the day on Wednesday. Rainfall amounts for the first part of the week could easily exceed 1-2."

Stay tuned to the CBS 58's Ready Weather team throughout the holiday weekend for further updates.
