MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's Oriental Theater is preparing to host what they're calling "rowdy" showings of the movie "Cats."
The folks at Milwaukee Film will bring the movie version of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical to the Oriental March 20-21.
"Call and response, cheers, a little bit of singing along, that's all encouraged," said Karina Henderson of Milwaukee Film. "What we don't want is people to throw things. I think there's a part where people throw tissues every time Jennifer Hudson sniffles. Tissues might be okay, but just be respectful to our theater."
People have been coming to the Oriental for decades for similar audience participation showings of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."
The screenings will begin at 10 p.m. both nights.
