MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- On top of the coronavirus pandemic, communities throughout the country are struggling with an overdose epidemic. A policy expert is breaking down what needs to be done to address the crisis.
States and counties across the country are reporting that overdose deaths are rising this year and the Covid-19 pandemic is just making the problem worse.
Joining CBS 58 Morning News is doctor Anund Parekh of the Bipartisan Policy Center, which just announced new funding to curb the opioid pandemic.
