MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One person has been taken to the hospital following a police incident near 48th and Center.

It happened shortly after 7 p.m. on Monday. 

According to a Lieutenant with the Milwaukee Police, a person was fleeing from a traffic stop and ran into the side of a police squad car.

According to police, that person suffered minor injuries.

The Milwaukee Fire Department confirms that they did respond and take one person to a local hospital after they hit a car. There is currently no word on their condition.
